Maruf Raihan

Maruf Raihan is a Dhaka-based architect, photographer, and experiential designer whose work explores the synergy between space, visuals, and emotion. A graduate of the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), his multidisciplinary practice spans architectural and interior design, architectural photography, audiovisual production, and immersive spatial experiences.

Through his studio Maruf Raihan.Works, and as a co-founder of initiatives like Shoho Studio, Surreal BD, and Corpovisuals, Maruf has contributed to a wide range of projects—from private residences and creative workspaces to cultural institutions and public installations. His architectural and interior designs emphasize contextual sensitivity, material honesty, and spatial narrative.

Maruf is also widely recognized for his architectural photography, having documented hundreds of notable projects across Bangladesh. His work has been featured in leading platforms such as ArchDaily, The Daily Star, Dot Bangladesh, and The Business Standard.

Beyond traditional practice, he is deeply engaged in experiential design—developing projection mapping shows, interactive installations, and immersive environments for festivals, brands, and institutions. His approach consistently integrates storytelling, technical innovation, and sensory design.
